The number you see in our calculator is an estimate based on the most widely accepted US 4.0 scale (or the international scale you select); it may differ by a few hundredths from your school\u2019s official record.

International scale conversions

Our Multi-Scale Comparison Tool provides estimated equivalents between US, UK, German, Indian, Chinese, Australian, and Canadian grading systems. These estimates use widely cited public conversion tables (DAAD, AACRAO, WES public guides), but every receiving institution applies its own rules. For high-stakes applications, always use an official credential evaluator (WES, ECE, SpanTran) or consult the destination university\u2019s admissions office.
